What are We?
Navigating one’s life is always unique to every person. What we do and say is influenced by the people and environment around us. Even in a fictional society with characters that can look nothing like us, the way these characters handle their lives can be reflective of what our lives look like in the real world. As a disabled artist, I depict disability in a fictional society with mixed species to showcase how representation and accommodations can be made in an invented society, along with other cultural and societal challenges that mirror our society.
Even centaurs need their restrooms to accommodate their anatomy.
There's another perspective on the other side.
A platonic hangout between friends can be a simple workout.
The female cheetah works hard to train her body.
She didn't care she was a crocodile, she felt beautiful.
She’s proud to show her hearing aid just like how her girlfriend shows her prosthetic tail.
What’s a society without a little humor involving social media?
While deer can get their antlers cut at a barbershop, sheep can have their wool sheared at a salon.
It’s important to accommodate entrances and exits for even the smallest of beings.
The prairie dog waits in line alongside his human counterparts.
Things would stir up between an Uno match among friends.
Two curious children admire this stranger’s prosthesis.
The male couple decides to adopt the two-headed lamb.
Being half human and half animal can feel like you belong on neither side.
Sometimes all you need is a friend.
At one point even mutts were considered beneath the purebred dogs.
Medusa’s corn snakes are docile, she’s here to care for herself.
A blind dog can receive help from a human guide too.
The cheetah needs his emotional support dog.
Sometimes it's not easy when your family isn’t perfect.
Mythological Romance
A short animation I made about a romantic pairing between the Owlman and Mothman. This animation was submitted to the Love Story Film Festival London and won Best Animation short.
